Biography
Mr. Collins was born and raised in Lilburn, Georgia outside of Atlanta.
After graduating from high school, Mr. Collins attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (magna cum laude) in 2003. Mr. Collins served as an intern for the Georgia House of Representatives in his senior year, working for the House Appropriations Committee under Rep. Tom Buck.
Mr. Collins returned to the University of Georgia and graduated with a joint degree in 2007 - a Masters of Public Administration (magna cum laude) and a Juris Doctorate (cum laude).
Mr. Collins worked as a volunteer intern for Partners for Prosperous Athens while pursuing his graduate degrees. Mr. Collins then briefly practiced commercial real estate law in the Atlanta area. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Mr. Collins had the honor and pleasure of working as a Superior Court Law Clerk for the Honorable Tilman E. Self, III, of the Macon Judicial Circuit. Mr. Collins is a member of the Georgia State Bar.
